Fatigue and Parkinsons

Three Things to Motivate You!

"I didn't get there by wishing for it, or hoping for it, but by working for it."

- Estee Lauder

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is mostly known for the symptoms of tremors. But a third of PD patients feel physically or mentally exhausted. This is not a general sleepiness.
This is extreme exhaustion on a level that most have not experienced. Most days I have flu-like symptoms with body aches and a low-grade fever. It is one of my greatest challenges.

I have learned that when I  wake up in the morning to find at least 3 things to be thankful for or,  that encourage me before my feet hit the ground.

Be STRONG for my children.
Be FEARLESS in the face of adversity.
Be BEAUTIFUL to others always.

We are never alone. There is always a Higher Power greater than us, that is right there. Surround yourself with like-minded people. Join a support group and remember to take your NAP!
